It says it doesn't fit my truck but it does. This is the only one so far that actually fits. Its got the flat sides that hold it formly to the steering box finally the right one and worth the price to get the correct Dorman part.

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra extended cab with 4 wheel drive with only 56,000 miles on it and for years it had the "clunk" in the steering column. Had it to the dealer several times only to be told it was "normal". After reading several forums, it seemed some had success with installing this. I took a chance and bought it....it was a bit difficult getting the old one out, but after watching several youtube videos, I managed to remove it and install this. HOORAY!!! That annoying "clunk" is finally gone.

I bought all three parts to make sure I covered all the bases.Mine was rusted on pretty bad but its easy access for removal and install.Some tight quarters, but over all way better than paying for the crazy labor for installation.Last resort if you cant do it.Take the parts in and have them installed at a auto garage. The parts are well made and the price was right. Fitment was perfect for my 2003 GMC 1500 4x4 regular duty truck. LOL. I forgot to add, the annoying clunking coming from my steering shaft is gone now 👍
