For this brand which I always buy, I am disappointed in its sharpness. Had to sharpen . Handle is also not as comfortable as I thought it would be, got a blister . Wear good gloves.

Some brands are good. Fiskars is one of them. I edge my flower gardens and do a quick clip of the longer grasses lying down into the dug out trough. Makes garden chores easier.

Unfortunately I tossed away its original package believing they were going to be as good as other Fiskars products I own. Otherwise I would have returned them in no time.First the grass blades bend in between the shears and they won't get cut unless you grab the blade tips and cut half inch at a time or less in order to trim them.The idea of the handle / shears orientation is great. But there is a spring tightened by a bolt and dome end nut that get loose right away and...go figure what happened after less than 10 minutes I didn't re tightened the hardware? The spring along with the bolt jumped out a few feet away. So far I found the spring but not the special screw and dome nut. They are brand new and useless to me now!I have to figure out now if the screw is a 10-24 or 10-32 and probably 1/2" long?Very disappointed with this product despite of owning and loving several items of the same brand.

These shears do a great job, even on shrubby twiggy scrub plants. Quite sharp, saves effort. Glad I got these. Arrived quickly. I have a few Fiskars brand items, the quality is consistent.

Works well after 1 hr of cutting thick grass. The only issue may be the rubber grips which will likely come loose in the near future.

This is not typical of any Fiskar product I have purchased before, it's actually very solid and sturdy. The blades are very sharp but are probably intended more to cut light branches and scrub than trimming grass. It will do nonetheless and I hope it's a s durable as it feels.

Very happy with this shear! Easily helps get the grass trimmed around shaped gardens where the trimmer can't go. Would prefer that the teeth on the shears extended a bit more as sometimes it doesn't work if i don't position the cut area just right. but not a deal breaker. i can even reach into the garden and get some of the weeds cut or out.
