After purchasing multiple DIFFERENT reducer caps to access the 330 gallons of rainwater in my IBC tank, I GAVE UP on finding a flow cap & decided instead, to use a pool drain line(THIS one because of it's 3" diameter) & attach it to the bottom connect port with a 3" ring clamp. My FIRST order of this drain line was DAMAGED IN SHIPPING, only I never found that out until I called Amazon because I only got an email claiming they were crediting my account for the purchase price because I RETURNED IT, which I DID NOT; I WAS AWAITING it's delivery... weeks LATER I got the email & subsequently made the call. As soon as my account was credited, I ORDERED IT AGAIN... It took almost 6 weeks to get this... WHY??? just boggles my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Notwithstanding the delivery drama, my design & this line WORKED!!!; I can now irrigate my garden- my poor plants were gasping for water by the time I FINALLY got it, but the design WORKED, using this line. I controlled the flow rate using the opening lever on the IBC tank. Aside from patrolling the length of the line for bends, creases, & kinks(it IS rather thin plastic line), it STILL WORKED. Forget trying to find a reducer cap for your IBC tank: THIS line + a 3" ring clamp did the trick. I depressed all the residual water out of the line & re-rolled it up, & put it in, OUT of sunlight exposure... PVC has a tendency to degrade in sunlight. It took rediculously long to get this- I don't want to have to re-order it AGAIN.
