Writing this as there are few reviews for it and I needed a stand ASAP for my 10 gallon aquarium. Pretty straightforward assembly. Pieces arrived undamaged except for one small dent in the bottom panel, but it didn't affect the structural integrity of the stand and can be hidden. The cam locks didn't rotate fully on one side (probably went 135 degree rotation) but locked together securely. Screw holes lined up well enough but some screws only had a small pilot hole and had to be drilled all the way in which was a pain with a hand screwdriver. Overall it's pretty sturdy, I can sit on it and it doesn't wobble at all.The big negative with this stand is it is made out of particle board, like all cheap aquarium stands are. However all exposed edges are laminated and the top/bottom panels have a few mm extra lamination. I'll still be wary of getting the stand wet. Also the top panel screws in with 8 pieces of hardware that are visible so if your tank doesn't cover the whole stand you will see flat black hex screw heads. It's only 28 inches tall, which is very short unless your aquarium will be viewed from a sitting position all the time. Finally there is obviously no storage except for the empty space at the bottom which isn't ideal for keeping aquarium supplies around. Overall I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. I will update after I finish assembling tank and use the stand for a while.

So we were in need of a tank stand right away. It arrived quickly...put it together. Seems sturdy enough but the top have great big chips in it. Very disappointing. I figured for the money we would at least get a product in good condition.

I am using this for a 20 gal long tank. The unit fits a 29 gal - same footprint. When I saw what fasteners came with it - I was not thrilled. You know those twisty little cams? I don't really have faith in them - but they work. Other than that, the cabinet went together easily - to a point. It is "I---I" shaped, giving some storage underneath - say for - unused decorations. The issue I had with it once I got it together is the "feet". You are supposed to screw them in, but there are no holes and the surface finish is hard and slippery. I could not get the screws to grip. They say you don't need a drill. I am not sure I agree with that. As is, I did not use the feet. The cabinet looks fine without them - although I wish it were a little taller. I have "bucket" chairs to sit in while I watch my fish swim by and that puts me at a proper level. The additional 1" plus height I would get from the feet may not be important, unless the cabinet is made to sit in water - which it shouldn't.

31 lbs.Pre-drilled. First insert plugs, then reinforced screws. Then a locking type nut to prevent any slips due to a bump.Easy assembly. With a 29s tank, it has 1/2 inch to spare on all sides.Had for about 6 wks. now. Looks great.
