Perfect fit for the old fob PCB (electronics), but worked fine only for little over 1 month, after which the fob started to act erratically.Pressing Unlock would actually Lock the doors, or simply just shaking the fob, no button pressed, would trigger Lock/Unlock randomly; it turned out that the conductive carbon layer (or whatever conductive material is) on the inside tip of the silicone rubber pad buttons is not adhering properly to the silicone rubber, therefore dissipating and transferring to the electronics board corresponding spot to contact, where then it was randomly shorting and generating erratic Lock/Unlock signals. However, after cleaning those contacts with alcohol (the q tip turned black) and sticking some aluminum foil little pieces on the silicone nipples, as a replacement for the original conductive layer, the fob works normally again.

The only thing that could have been better is, it could have arrived with an instruction on how to open. (not a huge issue, but it took me a little to remember the notch near the bottom). Looks great and everything fits (just getting a new battery now).

I have tried other brands of this fob and after a short time they broke. This set works great and easy to install the electronics . It seems to be a battery problem with the others but this one goes together with no issues. Better quality. There are two battery types that fit these but one is smaller so that may be the reason some people are having problems with a loose battery. Cr2032 fits this fob perfectly.

My fob worked fine but the icons were wore off. The $7 case was the perfect answer. I put in a new battery. Changed the case. You would never know that it’s not GM original! Great price.
