About this item

  • PLUS PEDAL FOR ALL MELODIC INSTRUMENTS: The PLUS Pedal is a piano style sustain pedal for guitars and other melodic instruments. It samples, sustains and layers any melodic sound made by any instrument.
  • TAKE YOUR PERFORMANCE TO THE NEXT LEVEL: The PLUS Sustain Pedal allows to compose impossible song arrangements using just one instrument. Transform chords into synth-like pads and beautiful textures.
  • NATURAL SOUND: Unlike granular synthesizers, the PLUS Pedal continuously records and analyzes a high-resolution audio signal. The algorithm identifies the optimal portion of the note's decay phase to create a seamless circular micro-loop.
  • DETAILED CONTROL: The PLUS Pedal offers full control over each layer of sustained sound. The RISE and TAIL knobs set the fade-in and fade-out speed of each new layer. Create lush layered soundscapes and ambiances without multi-effect setups.
  • TECHNICAL INFO: Power supply is not included. The PLUS Pedal uses standard 9 V DC center negative pedal power supply with at least 250 mA.

The PLUS pedal is a new kind of audio processing engine that offers piano style sustain for electric guitars and all other melodic instruments. This is more than just a stompbox, it is a vast extension of your instrument that bridges the gap between rhythm and lead playing and lets players explore new territories. The PLUS pedal uses a proprietary real time audio sampling algorithm to generate long, smooth layers of sustain out of any audio input signal. Compared to other freeze effects (based on granular synthesis or reverb engines) the PLUS Pedal fully preserves the core sound of your instrument, including picking dynamics, tone and pickup settings, vibrato, harmonics and other nuances. Most importantly, the PLUS Pedal has no limitations in terms of polyphony or timbre. You can use it with complex chords, as well as with single notes on a mono synthesizer. The PLUS pedal offers many different uses. Accompany your solos with sustaining chords. Build rich ambient textures and harmonically evolving soundscapes. With a flip of a switch and quick knob adjustments the PLUS turns into an ambient machine. Experimentation with other effects in the PLUS pedal’s FX loop opens up endless possibilities of sound sculpting. The sturdy brass piano-style foot pedal becomes part of your instrument. The sensation of playing the PLUS compares to a real piano or a wah-wah pedal. From jazz-voice leading to heavy post-rock drones the Plus Pedal allows the guitarist to do more with the instrument! A useful tool in any context like live performances, songwriting & arrangement, creating drones, ambient soundscapes, cinematic sound effects, and much more. It is also a fantastic tool for aural training and practicing improvisation. Instead of thinking about which scale shape fits over what changes. The PLUS Pedal focuses all of your attention on listening to the tonal relationships between the chord and the notes you play on top.

Found it underwhelming. The choppy trem that happens if you press down too soon after hitting a note is not what in was looking for. I’ll stick with my freeze pedal

Too expensive for what it does (which isn't much) so I returned it. Simply put... Not useful for performance. Perhaps OK for bedroom noodling if you are burdened with too much money.Loops are glitchy, and they admit that in the instructions by putting the onus on user timing.I would describe this pedal as a failed implementation of a great concept. If it was a car I would car it a Cadillac with a Fiat engine.I give it two stars because it looks good.

Even though I've only recently purchased this pedal, I feel that I've only scratched the surface of it's capabilities. There's a world of possibilities in this pedal...and that feels like an understatement. The four knob controls (blend, sustain, rise and tail) have wide parameters and the touch sensitivity of the pedal itself has the feel of a fine musical instrument. From smooth chord connection and the overlapping of chords (hitherto only possible on a piano) to building layers of sound (up to 5), this is not a one trick pony. Spend a few hours with it and let your musical mind revel in the possibilities. Not to go unnoticed, the pedal has an elegant look and is built like a tank.

ただの鉄の箱というイメージだったが実物はピカピカしていて、思ったより重量もあって、底面が平面なので安定も良い。取説の字がちっちゃくて年配者にはつらいが、解る日本語の取説も入っていて良い。

The question that people seem to be discussing here is whether this pedal is, in fact, a gamechanger. My own response would be yes because it can change your approach to your instrument, especially for guitar. My Plus arrived 2 days ago and I've spent about 8 hours becoming familiar with it. It took me two hours to go from "I think I might have made a mistake buying this" to "I'd better buy another one right away in case something happens to this one!" (Which I'm doing.) Others here have noted how solid the manufacture is (and it is -- flawless, as far as I can see). However, the thing that makes this device exceptional is the design of the user interface. I've previously used another sustainer and it was a struggle to control it. With the Plus, once you get the hang of "attack and then pedal" (instead of "attack and pedal at the same time"), it is remarkably easy to control. The quality of resultant sound is exceptional -- same as originating instrument. The pedal itself (not the whole device, but the thing you actually press down on) is solid and has exactly the right amount of resistance. I play pedal steel and this reminds me of the pedal action on a great steel -- smooth and even. Knob operation is clear and accessible. The settings are so varied that possibility of getting different sounds seems endless -- I imagine I'll be growing into the Plus for a few months. This pedal is worth every penny. It's a real technical and musical accomplishment.

Had to use two amps to get any performance . Not a lot of instructions for a pedal that is hard to place in your pedal chain. Effect works but its pretty subtle. Nicely made, looks expensive and it is expensive.
