These clippers work great (best I've ever used), but the blades will go dull eventually and a good cleaning and sharpening won't help—and good luck getting replacement blades. The ones shows in the "frequently bought together" are for a different model of clipper, and when I contacted the company about replacement blades for this model, they sent a robo-response and never followed up. Too bad, because they'd be a cinch to replace. I'd rate these 5 stars if it weren't for this.

This trimmer is amazing. I was using a Sunjoe trimmer which was so frustrating as it would not cut more than 3-4 grass blades at a time. The Gardena is simply amazing. Cuts super thick grass with no problem. Also really really nice that it has a battery level indicator.There is no need to adjust the grass with your free hand (which is super dangerous) with this trimmer it cuts right though. I used it to edge a patio with no problem. Wish I got this years ago but the high price kept me away. You really get what you pay for here as the performance makes this an exceptional value.Very happy with this Amazon buy.

Gardena clippers are the best - I've used others and there is no comparison.Things to remember:Do NOT lose the charge cord.Don't wait until the charge is low. Stop before you think you need to.Be careful what you cut. The clippers will cut small stems of flowers or damage small trees.Keep you fingers away. I cut off the tip of a finger when I was careless.This is my second pair of Gardena clippers. The previous pair, purchased in 2016, is still going strong. I wanted another pair to use while the other is charging.What I notice compared to older model:It seems harder to use with my non-dominant hand.The battery seems to last longer.It's harder to pack around because the handle isn't a "loop."I hope this newer model lasts as long as the older. I highly recommend Gardena clippers.

Bought this after years of frustration with old style grass clippers. Why did I wait?? This is just perfect for grass and I have also used it on vinca which is always beautiful but invasive. As my mama would say: this works slick. Saving me hours of backbreaking hand work. I am able to cut around my pots and flowers in my garden where the vinca grows along with lots of flowers and pots. It's a beautiful garden and this allows me to keep the vinca under control. I also used to trim grass along a rock wall. Worked beautifully. Now I just hope it will last. I've only had it 2 weeks.
