Fit perfectly into my PSP 1001. There is a grainy feel to the movement, but it seems to be smoothing up with time. The texture of the thumbpad is corser than the original, which is nice. My thumb was always slipping off the original one, but this one grips better.

If I didn’t know this was a replacement joystick, I would think it was the original.

Product arrived quickly and was in good condition. The reason why I'm giving it 2 stars is because I had it in my PSP 1000 for about 3 days and the stick worked perfectly. I was playing when my character stopped sprinting and was just walking really slow. So i released the thumbstick and what do you know i was walking in circles. Tried to recalibrate the stick but it was no use. The drift was back. Super disappointing just bought this psp 2 weeks ago and i cant use it. Even with my n64 or sega games the system thinks you are using the thumbstick. My honest opinion dont waste your money PsPs are to old now. There are alot of newer handheld devices that are better and can run psp as well as other consoles.

Couldn't get it to work on 2 systems..

After I put the psp back together I noticed that the joystick would get stuck. I opened the psp again and the joystick worked fine. I put the case back on but didn't tighten the screws as much. The joystick worked correctly after that.
