The white aesthetic is very nice, but the PCIe cards I've added will overwhelmingly cover the view of the motherboard, haha.Gigabyte did a good job in positioning the middle PCIe slot, it leaves enough clearance/spacing so that my Samsung PCIe card SSD in it is not right up against my 3-slot RTX 4070Ti, thus leaving good airflow for both devices. In addition, I like how the bottom PCIe slot is wired x4 electrically instead of x1 or x2 like some of the other X870E motherboards since I've hooked up an ancient Mellanox ConnectX-2 10Gbps SFP+ networking card which requires 4 lanes to use the max bandwidth of the card.Bugs:If you stripe your SATA drives using the Windows disk management, you won't be try to access the BIOS and this is as of BIOS ver. FA2b; when attempting to access the BIOS, the splash screen just freezes when the delete button is pressed. However, making a RAID with Windows Storage Spaces has no problems.I wasn't able to get the DP-Alt functionality out of any of the USB4 ports to work with my USB-C DP-Alt capable display; not a big deal to me since I'll be using my graphics card to connect to my displays anyway, but I was curious to checkout that capability of the USB4 ports.

A fantastic motherboard. Everyone complimented this machine. It's incredibly durable. While I was installing the components, I was holding the RAM with my hand, and suddenly the motherboard fell out of my hand, but my hand remained holding the RAM! At the time, I thought the RAM housing was broken, and I was very sad. But surprisingly, the RAM remained intact, and its housing was 100% intact. This is a harsh and frightening experience, but it confirms that Gigabyte is a giant in software and a giant in the hardware industry. As for the motherboard's performance, it is one of the best motherboards I have ever purchased. A month ago, I bought three motherboards from three companies: one was terrible, one was junk, and one was absolutely amazing, which is this device from Gigabyte. I recommend it.One thing I couldn't do with this motherboard: I wanted the LED to stay on after I did the shadowun. But I couldn't do it. I don't know why. I did everything from within the BIOS and outside of the BIOS. But the LED only works if the computer is on. A great, fast, and extremely powerful device.

Compre la Placa base de Gigabyte X870e Aorus Pro ice buscando una buena relación entre calidad y precio y estoy bastante conforme con la compra la cual llego sin ningún problema y perfectamente empacada a mi domicilio en chile anteriormente tuve una placa madre Aorus master y también destacaba por su calidad .En general recomiendo los productos de la linea Aorus de gygabyte .Bueno la placa madre la compre en color blanco para que resaltara con mi gabinete de color negro y quedo bastante buena . Me sorprendió la calidad de los disparadores de calor que trae la placa para los NVME y también en botón para poder liberar la gpu es una gran ayuda . Estoy bastante contento con la compra solo tuve un par de problemas con la Wi Fi 7 que pude solucionar con rapidez al actualizar la BIOS a asu ultima versión ; actualizar el Windows y descargar los controladores de la pagina de soporte de Gigabyte para el modelo en especifico.A pesar de esto recomiendo mucho la placa por su calidad creo que es una muy buena opcion .

I bought Gigabyte AORUS X870E Pro ICE motherboard during Thanksgiving holiday to build my first AMD PC. I was excited to build an AMD PC, having only built PCs based on Intel CPU in the past. My first impression of the Pro ICE motherboard was its appearance. It is one of the most beautiful white motherboard on the market and its parts quality is high with almost all the functions I need.Installation of AORUS Pro ICE was quite easy, especially for SSD. No tool was needed to open heatsink cover to access the SSD locations, and the SSD was easy to plug in and lock. Since my SSD is CRUCIAL T700, I also installed THERMALRIGHT HR-10 2280 PRO Heatsink with fan. The installation was fast thanks to the motherboard having enough space for the fan heatsink, but I had to remove the thermal pad from the motherboard's SSD location to allow the SSD lock to reach T700. My G.SKILL Trident Z5 Royal (in gold color) is a perfect match to this pure white board and HYTE Y70 infinite case,which makes my PC look gorgeous.AORUS Pro ICE performance is also good. AMD 9950x can be overclocked to 5.5 GHz on my system with LIAN LI HydroShift cooler and memory Trident Z5 can reach to 6400 MT/s.There are three things that this motherboard needs to be improved. First one is about PCIe5 x16 lanes plug. After plus a GPU into PCIe5 lane, it is very difficult to release the GPU card due to that the unlock button is hiding behind the GPU card and very uneasy to reach it. The second one is that SSD lock is not flexible for separate thermal heatsink installation. The original thermal pad has to be removed to fit my HR-10 2280 PRO heatsink. The third is that the installation documentation has not been updated to the current motherboard and without a motherboard laid out for each parts and connectors.I recommend Gigabyte AORUS X870E Pro ICE to anyone who wants to build a PC in white color with a moderate cost.
