The hoops are heavy duty solid non-french plastic as are the connectors. The connectors and hoops aren't intended to flex at all. I think this is great in the fact there is no stress in the connectors meaning they will not be prone to breaking. I'm addition, they were all a snug fit meaning that the entire unit will not easily just come apart. I also appreciated that the poles are solid plastic and not lined metal which can just rust out over time.I was let down by the clips. They are nice and robust but they fit extremely snug and are super hard to get on and even harder to get off. You will not be able to install, adjust or remove this clips without damaging the protective material. Also, the clips themselves were damaged (light colored stretch marks) simply by starting to remove them (very difficult). I did appreciate the extra pull tab.Besides the clips, I liked this a lot and recommend it.

I recently picked up a set of Greenhouse Hoops Grow Tunnel, which includes 8 sets of garden hoops designed for raised beds. Although we’re at the end of winter and unable to use them just yet, I’ve had a chance to examine their features and consider how they will fit into my gardening plans as we move into spring.One of the aspects I really like about these hoops is their rust-free construction. This durability means that they should hold up well against the elements, which is essential for outdoor gardening tools. The design is straightforward and easy to assemble, allowing me to set them up quickly without the need for complicated instructions. I anticipate being able to use them to support row covers or shade cloth, which will be useful for protecting young plants from unpredictable spring weather.The versatility of these hoops interests me as they can be used for various purposes, such as creating a mini greenhouse effect for seedlings, providing shade for tender plants, or even supporting climbing vegetables. This adaptability adds value to my gardening efforts, allowing me to maximize the use of my raised beds as we transition into the growing season.I can't assess their effectiveness in real gardening situations just yet. Moreover, while the hoops seem sturdy, I hope they provide adequate support for taller plants as they grow. It will be essential to see how well they handle weight and any potential wind exposure when fully utilized.The Greenhouse Hoops Grow Tunnel appears to be a promising addition to my gardening toolkit. Their rust-free construction, ease of assembly, and versatility offer a solid foundation for creating a supportive environment for my plants. I ended up buying two sets of these for a roughly 50ft long bed to defend my produce from my industrious little flock of hens and geese as well as to act as a barrier against bugs and other critters. I liked that you could make them shorter and narrower or taller and wider depending on how you choose to assemble them. Assembly was extremely easy, maybe 5 minutes to assemble the whole pack. I purchased the netting separately - it does not come with the netting.They have proven to be impressively sturdy and held up well against violent summer storms. Neighbors, friends, and family have seen these in my yard and asked for the link to buy some for themselves. I found them to be a solid, reliable product at a very reasonable price point, so I have no qualms reccomending this product to anyone who asks about the ones in my yard. I plan to order more soon as I expand my garden for some fall crops, and I trust the ones I have installed already to hold up well for at least a couple of years.

The hoops themselves are very sturdy and go together well. I used them to hold screening over my plants. The accompanying clips are difficult to use; there are better designed ones out there.

Just put these together for my strawberry bed. I had to go 4 wide 1 tall for the size of my bed. I was only able to make 3 this size so I just ordered another set. Wonder if just the straight peices are available as there are 6 curved left over.Love that these are adjustable to fit the size of my bed. They seem sturdy and are plastic covered so I assume these will last for years. We haven't put the mesh cover on yet, but expect the frame is plenty sturdy to hold it. Wish I would have invested in this years ago!

Updated Review:In the spring of 2024, I ordered these greenhouse hoops with the idea of creating a greenhouse with plastic to ensure early crops were not affected by frost. I ultimately used the hoops with ultra-fine bird-proof netting because I was warned that Mourning Doves love eating pea plants as they sprout. This combination worked great, and these hoops survived the season very well. I threw out a different set of greenhouse hoops due to the fibreglass splintering.In preparation for the 2025 growing season, I have ordered two more sets to combine with the set I bought last year to create two tunnels using ultra-fine bird-proof netting. One tunnel will protect my strawberry and blueberry plants, while the second tunnel will protect my pepper plants from slugs, snails, and rabbits. I was also finding an unusual beetle on my pepper plants.The bottom line is that this product is good, and I am confidently expanding my use of it this year.

This garden hoop is ideal for making a temporary greenhouse. I have a garden with raised beds that have varied widths and lengths. The kit can accommodate up to 4 different widths, heights and lengths and this is exactly what I need.The rods are robust and are made for any climate conditions that you may have.They are made of a steel core coated in plastic, will resist rusting and are robust.Because of the strength of the hoops, they hold any garden cover from shading cloth to heavier duty plastic used for erecting a temporary greenhouse /hotbox. The bottom of the rods have a pointed end and I have no problem inserting them in a potting mix. Normal soil takes more effort but I have a rubber mallet that helps.The connectors that are used to connect the rods are usually are easy to slide over the main rods but you may encounter the occasional rod that is difficult to insert and more force may be needed. When completely inserted, the connection is good and strong.For temporary garden cover setups, this kit has everything you need and is very adaptive to your needs. Their price is competitive.

These worked well. I liked that you could control size and placement was easy, as was the cleaning. They wiped clean easily with just a soapy rag.Taking down was quick. I liked how they looked as well. Made the area look neat and kept the deer away from the beans.
