fretting square is not straight so impossible to level the frets. was disapointed.

Just by itself The orange handle file worth the price.Its fast,efficient and easy to use.A fine sandpaper after that and its a finish product

Great product, mine came with one of the sanding stones broken so not only did they send me another one but it was the very next day! They also sent me a completely different fret tool that I also needed for free for my troubles, customer service was terrific! Is it a top of the line luthiers tool? No but if it's 1/5 the price and good enough for Philip McKnight it's good enough for moi.

Bought this for my maintenance and first guitar build. I am NO luthier however once this came in, I could tell I wasn't going to use most of this stuff.The fret rocker is great. The shields that go around the fret to protect the fretboard, are good, and the hammer is useful.That's it.The fret stones for sanding/polish are far too stiff and will flatten your frets unless you have worn a groove in it before starting.The fret/crowning file....don't even get me started. Absolute garbage. It ruined two of my frets (thankfully my 21 and 22 that I never use) I threw it out and bought a crimson guitar one instead.Moral of the story: INVEST IN YOUR TOOLS or just buy this kit for the fret rocker/hammer/ and shields.
