I jam and gig fairly often and have, so far, used at least four different "portable" guitar stands. This oneis by far the best I have tried.It is light. It is quite compact when folded and stores well and conveniently in a guitar case or gig bag. It opens to a surprisingly large and sturdy guitar stand capable of hanging onto my classic, acoustic, or electric guitar quite securely.I like it and would recommend it.

Pretty solid little stand, not THE sturdiest, but certainly no slouch. Folds up real nice into a compact profile. Easily fit in my acoustic guitar case, which was great! Overall, quite please.

It's not hard to spend considerable money on a guitar stand. But at the end of the day, the job is rather straightforward -- keep a guitar off the floor, safely and securely. Don't damage the finish of the instrument, don't be "tippy", and extra points for being light and easily portable, still more credits for the ability to collapse into a very compact form.All good here. This wee beastie weighs nothing, folds to fit in a pocket on a gig bag, happily holds either an electric or an acoustic guitar very steadily, leaving no marks or damage of any sort behind.The only demerit I could assign would be that if you are dealing with an acoustic-electric guitar that has a cable plugged into the end pin (say, at a gig), well, this cradles the guitar too low for a typical stright-angle jack to clear the floor. You'll need a cable with a 90-degree jack.Otherwise, great item. I've bought 3, and at gigs use them to have several guitars lined up near me within easy reach. So easy to transport and use.

This is the best foldable stand I’ve tried. It’s pretty study, and folds down into a nice, small package that you can toss in your bag o’ cables. Only issue is it’s not so good for an acoustic guitar with an endpin jack that’s plugged in, even a 90 degree cable, or an electric guitar with Schaller style strap locks with the strap attached, as the cradle isn’t quite high enough. But this is a truly awesome design. Only recommendation I’d have is to lift it off the floor a little more. Beware of imitations. I’ve tried them and while they are cheap, they’re also…well, cheap. This is just another example of the excellent products Hercules produces.

Lo stand è molto comodo pert leggero, pieghevole ed abbastanza stabile.Ne ho due uno a casa dei miei e quando non mi serve si chiude e sparisce dalla vista.Lo trovo comodo soprattutto per la SG che ha i controlli volume e tono molto in basso ed alcuni stand non li accolgono.Va bene sia per elettriche che acustiche.

Portable and small enough so you can carry two or more no problem. Sometimes they can fold up a bit on unlevel ground but otherwise a very good deal and more great stands from Hercules!

Great portable guitar stand, fits in my pouch on my gig bag! Light in weight yet seems sturdy enough, even though it's plastic. Hope it holds up! Would make a great birthday or Christmas present for your guitar playing musician friends.

I researched many portable guitar stands and based on experience and other user reviews, I chose the Hercules GS200B. I've only owned it (x2) for several hours and I am immediately satisfied. Smart folding, COMPACT, fairly lightweight and sturdy whether folded or expanded. Generous rubberized trimming, guitar stands upright (not like some that lean way back), accommodates electric and acoustics, can keep my strat plugged in, looks good, low profile. I am impressed. Price is fair but could be better. Very satisfied. They easily fit in a gig bag pocket and even my hard case storage box.

Wasn't sure if its gonna work or not but it surprised me. Had to buy a stand for my bass guitar. A light weight stand that can easily get in my gig bag. Ultra compact design helped me to get in bag pockets easily. Looks classy on the stage too. Could be a bit more sturdier but still works really good.
