About this item

  • The "NRF24L01" interace has been added
  • The "Nokia 5110 LCD" interface has been added
  • The bluetooth module interface has been added, Convenient Bluetooth wireless serial communication.
  • The "I2C" communication interface has been added Compatible with Arduino UNO
  • Operating voltage :3.5v or 5v

Specification:
The push buttons are connected to Arduino digital pins 2-6; the related pin will be low when a certain button is pressed. JoystickY-Axis movement will produce a proportional analogue voltage on analogue pin 0, while, Joystick X-Axis movement will produce a analog signal on analog pin 1.
Meanwhile, JoyStick Shield with a cross PS2 joystick with buttons, there are four round buttons, 2 small buttons. Provides for the Arduino joystick and buttons input expansion. On board switches can switch between 3.3V and 5V, can use this model for other 3.3V micro controller platforms, such as STM32.

Item shiped is not what was displayed. There seems to be confusion on the refrance to interface. I2c for example or bluetooth these are not what one would expect for a interface but rather more of a pass through. They bring the sda and sdl lines to a header and call it a i2c interface but in reality they are just pins connected to the i2c interface on the arduino. The blue tooth is just the serial tx and rc lines on the arduino. The power switch just selects the 3.3 or 5 volt line on the arduino and places it on the different pass through headers..I actually removed all the headers but the yellow dual header and am using a esp32 to read the switch states and the x and y analog inputs

No Bluetooth no I2C and the voltage switch is missing on one of the two.

I didn't expect much out of this... look at the price. The buttons were easy enough to figure out and if your new to writing Arduino google for Arduino code + the product name someone put some very basic button testing code out there to test the ABCD buttons EF and Joystick XY. Oddly the sample code I found didn't include the button on the Joystick down press button, see my list below. I didn't care I was just looking for confirmation of the PINs because it's actually Pin 2-8 and A0, A1. I'm really happy they didn't leave anything on D0/1 for the serial port.. The joystick will show you difficultly to read a value other than mid-point (spring return value) to full or minimum range. If you move it a little into mid-span value if you creep into the movement. Full scale readings are present after about 1/2 through the full range of motion. I ended up just integrating my value and it was fine. A person could de-solder and replace this joystick but in my experience these types of joysticks are kid of low quality anyways. There are no other peripherals on this board outside of the joystick with pushdown button and the six buttons. There are three breakout headers and then the pin headers for prototyping. Here is the inputs:#define BUTTON_UP 2#define BUTTON_RIGHT 3#define BUTTON_DOWN 4#define BUTTON_LEFT 5#define BUTTON_1 6#define BUTTON_2 7#define BUTTON_XY 8#define PIN_ANALOG_X 0#define PIN_ANALOG_Y 1
