This is the second year in a row I have purchased these plant supports (you know, strawberries go crazy!). Easier to assemble and place around your plants at the beginning of the season. I have been able to easily move them around as my strawberry plants have grown, and they keep all the annoying insects off the fruit. I'm very happy with this purchase.

We were introduced to these by a neighbor, so we bought them. We have them under about 10 plants, and they keep the strawberries off the ground like they're supposed to. We have had a few slugs find their way up onto a few plants, but only a few. They are also good for when you put down granular bug stuff around your plants. This way the strawberries don't have to touch that stuff on the ground.

I struggle with how many stars to give this product. They are flimsy and fall apart even after assembling. But they do raise my strawberries off the ground and slugs/snails/pill bugs don't get to them anymore. I haven't lost any berries to crawling pests ever since putting these in. But I'm constantly putting the legs back on and straightening them out, every day. I might try super glue or hot glue...These do not protect berries from squirrels or birds though.

I grow strawberry plants in 5-gallon grow bags, and these supports fit perfectly. They are a bit flimsy, but they do what they are designed to do, and once installed, you can just forget about them. They elevate the leaves and the fruit above the soil, which will keep the plant healthier than just letting everything touch the surface. It's a nice little addition to my strawberry plants.
