Worked great for my needs. I installed a full-size 2TB M.2 2280 NVME SSD into my ROG Ally (Z1 Extreme). It runs a little close to some of the other components so a little bit of shimmy-ing was required to get the placement correct.Not a fault of the product but be careful re-assembling after installing. I didn't have everything aligned/tightened as I should have and ended up with a bulge on the back of my ROG Ally (Not where the SSD was installed). This was causing some odd issues with intermittent shut-downs. After I opened it up and ensured everything was put back correctly I haven't had any problems. Learn from my mistakes.

The screw made a bump( warped back panel upon putting the panel back) but it’s not very noticeable. It works.

Confirmed working with the ROG Ally and a PCIE-4 2TB SSD. So far I am very happy with it.

Install was fairly easy and works perfectly. The drive sits in there a bit crooked, but that's due to the Rog Ally, not the bracket itself. Would buy again.

Plugged it in with a 2280 I know works. Rog never saw the drive. Put back my 2230 it worked and booted. Put back in the adapter and then the 2230 and locked it down. Still didn't work. Put back in the 2280 and still no good. Pit the 2280 in my m2 enclosure and it worked same for my 2230.Bottom line the adapter didn't work. I returned it.
