They seem to be a decent rod holder although I was a little disappointed in them as the stem is a smaller diameter than my Attwood mounts are and the fit is loose, but they are still usable. In conclusion, no matter the manufacture of the rod holder stick with that brand for replacements.

Might work if you got some big, thick, long handle rods. I have 2 basic rods and they are way too small. Useless for me.

I replaced older Bass Pro rod holders and these are nearly identical. The Bass Pro ones were foam lined but it didn't last long. These ones have a heavier mount and a knob to adjust the angle, otherwise appear the same or better quality. The Bass Pro model is in the second picture on the right.

They work fine! I cought a lot of fish this year with them when trolling, or just letting a piece of meat hang near the boat (for catfish). I riveted them straight on my aluminium boat and they do what they are supposed to. I caught bass, walleye, pike, perch and catfish thanks to them. Easy to change angle and incline. I read a comment saying that they will eat up the tip of your rod handle, well they only use up cork, and not by much. If you want to be safe just do what I did and file it a bit to get a smooth edge.

Came in a timely manner and has all as described and is thick plastic so should do the job nicely at an excellent price. It comes with clamps to mount to a rail, I was happy to find it fit my 1" rail perfectly. The fasteners are a bit odd, I used a square head driver and 10 mm wrench. I hope they are stainless. The other mount entails drilling a large hole to insert the surface mount on the gunwales, which I did not want, but someone else may.
