I had to wait a while for this lap desk to arrive and in one day I am satisfied and happy with it. The large size gives me a bigger platform for my lap top and mouse. Best of all is the beaded cushion. Unlike foam I can move the beading around to make it more comfortable on my legs. I also use it for reading and writing (by hand, some of us still do it) and there is plenty of room for taking notes, coloring, or sketching. The top has a nice texture so nothing slides. There is a long slot that can be used for multiple items. I was surprised that the trim is one piece. There is no seam to break or catch anything. It is lightweight and I like the small carry loop for ease of transport. But is the is the pillow that I love the most. I have a smaller beaded laptop desk but it broke open and out poured little beads everywhere. This lap desk has a removable, washable cover and the beads are cased separately so that when I take the cover off no beads will come flying out. It arrived well packaged, a good thing since the box was beat up and falling apart on the end. There was no damage to the laptop desk. A small instruction book provides clear guidance on how to remove the pillow cover for washing. The material is similar to a t-shirt with some stretch so that the beads can be moved around. It is well worth the cost compared to other lap desks.

There have been others before this one. Ho hum. I bought this out of necessity and INSTANTLY love it. Not sure what magic is in there and don’t care. Now I only want to use the lapdesk over my actual desk. Alas I can’t. But I’m so glad I got this thing. I almost bought the one with the wrist rest. Maybe next time. For now, we will live happily ever after.

It fits my 17” laptop, but there’s not much space left for a mouse, but it’s doable.I wish the bottom ledge thingy could either be removed, or pushed in without being held down. But it is what it is.

This lap desk fits my 16” MacBook perfectly! There is not much room for my mouse, but it gets the job done. The lip between the pad and edge is little uncomfortable, but I’m sure using a small mouse pad would help. It’s not too much of a problem for me so I haven’t tried using anything. My laptop doesn’t slide around in the mat and the stop bar is sturdy. I bought the waves pattern and it’s very stylish!
