I used these last year to protect my plants from rodents, these were flimsy and couldn’t help. This year I replaced these with sturdy posts.

Used these on my raised cabbage bed with a mesh cover. Started off great and then 3 randomly snapped near the metal connector. Replaced them and they snapped again in the same place. Were not overly tense or bent to the extreme. Waste of money.

Stay clear, pick ones with a coating or sheath. Fibreglass no coating so use gloves or you will get fibreglass splinters,

Easy to use. Just make sure you hold pieces together while inserting into ground. Sturdy even though it’s less than 1/4 inch diameter.

I put this together thinking yeah it's going to break or crack. I'm surprised that it has worked out great so far. I have a few pieces left that I can add later to increase the height or replaced a broken one. So far I am satisfied 😁

These hoops are my young plants’ and tender greens’ new best friend. Living in South Louisiana, we are no strangers to voracious critters, disease-ridden bugs and harsh weather conditions. These hoops helped to provide the protection our veggies needed, improving the quality of our harvests big time! We had a lot fewer problems with insects eating our crop as well as the sun scorching the tender leaves. Squirrels and birds were kept at bay and we didn’t have to worry about damage from frost on those rare occasions. They are super easy to install; we used them all of last year (2 growing seasons) — they held up great. They survived some really windy weather not to mention driving rain and scorching heat. We used them in raised beds with wooden borders, which I’m sure helped with the support, but we never had problems with them falling over. The rods didn’t break and they didn’t rust (they’re fiberglass), but the ends got stained a bit with rust from the connectors. No biggie. The only downside is that the clips that came with the rods are kind of flimsy and are not easy to work with, especially if the fabric you cover the hoops with has any weight to it.Overall, I would highly recommend these hoops. They saved our veggies from all sorts of dangers, easily and organically!

The package was amazingly compact, so much so that I thought I had made a mistake. But discovered it is remarkably simple to assemble and once installed, it appears to be solid. I used 4 rods and 3 connectors. With three of these assemblies I comfortably covered a 3’x4’ garden with 8” metal sides. Don’t know what ground only installation will be like. The one negative is the small metal connector tubes used to assemble. The rods slip out easily therefore you must assemble them vertically, using gravity, or flat on a surface. Twist the entire structure to make it stay assembled. Once installed, it appears to remain assembled.Although… I see duct tape in the future at the joints.

We started our first ever raised bed garden and we had a cold front coming through. I bought these to hold up a cover over one of the garden beds, since my plants are still young. They’re essentially sticks that you connect together - you NEED to connect 4 or more sticks for them to bend. The stick itself doesn’t bend all that much. It’s fairly easy to connect but it gets a little trickier when you put it in the ground. Having a barrier of sorts (like a raised garden bed) is a great help so the ends are kept closer together and the connected stick stays bent. Having said that, they might lean once you get them bent. For our 4x6 foot beds, we used around 5 sticks for each one to go above the tomato plants. The super lightweight cloth made one lean over, though it didn’t fall, so there’s that. By morning, 2 were leaning over due to the wind, but neither fell over completely, but one stick did pop out straight on one end. The other end was still stuck in the ground; only the weight of the fabric with the fasteners was keeping it down.Overall, it’s okay. Better than nothing, but not great, either. I don’t regret the purchase as it’s cheaper than some other alternatives. Plus, it was hard finding something that fit our garden beds so I like how you can customize these without paying a small fortune. We also have 2x10 foot beds, though those were empty at the time.If I were more seasoned at gardening and see myself doing this for years, I’d look into something more sturdy/permanent and reliable.

Received quickly, and immediately put to work. Very easy to assemble, just connect each segment with the roller connector provided, then stick one end in the ground, bend the whole thing over to create a half loop, then stick the other end into the soil, no breaking, easy to adjust width. The only downside is it's not hard enough, so the two end loops kept leaning towards the center because when you attach a net or something to them, they get pulled inward. So I had to use a couple of sticks to somehow hold them straight up, which look ugly. But what can you do.
