This is a battery operated cordless rotary tool that may be used as a hand-guided drywall cutter, but also as a trim router. It comes with two 1/8" drywall-piercing two-flute downcut bits made of high-speed steel alloy (HSS), which unlike in the product photo have flutes starting about half an inch away from the tip of the bit. So these bits cannot be used as end mills. Also in the kit is a small chuck wrench and one spare collet. So you have two identical 1/8" collets with this tool. The product photos mention that it accepts 1/4" bits, but you will have to buy a collet for such bits separately, and you would only need it if you really want to use this rotary tool as a trim router. Even then, I am not convinced that it will have enough power to work with 1/4" shank bits that have a working end larger than half an inch in diameter. As a rotary saw, it may also come in handy for making complex shape cuts when installing laminate floor pieces around door frames and such. It is a versatile and useful tool that is good at what it was designed for, and is sold for a reasonable price, just do not expect it to match power and precision of its pricier cousins.

This is a decent cutting tool for drywall. The power is good, but you may need different drill bits for wood. The description shows the item with a locking collar, and some pictures without it. The tool I received has no locking collar. The locking collar is the part that allows you to tighten the bit by hand. The model I got came with a small wrench, and you need to use it for the collar, the motor has a lock pin which works perfectly.I did not test the battery capacity, from the weight I would expect around 1.2-1.5Ah as similar sized product. I could not identify the battery style, this is not Dewalt nor PorterCable/Stainley/Black&Decker and this is one of the main concerns with these various brand tools, you end up with various batteries and some replacements may not be found in the future.
