Overall great product and an improvement over the factory plastic crossover that was leaking on my 2016 ram 3.6. The surface that mates to the timing cover comes as cast and wasn't perfectly flat but 5 mins sanding with 400 grit sandpaper laid on a flat piece of granite, it's super flat now.

I have personally installed two of these on two different vehicles (same engine - 3.6L Pentastar). This is an excellent replacement for the factory crossover pipe. That cheap plastic part will fail quickly. This has worked flawlessly on my 2013 Charger for over 2 years and on my 2013 Durango for more than 6 months with no issues. Do it and save some peace of mind.

Thanks god they make an all aluminum housing as these plastic OEM ones are known to leak and the aftermarket ones don’t hold that long the brads threaded inserts on the plastic don’t hold down the torque of the the thermostat housing causing thermostat to leak. With this all metal one this is a permanent solution and should last very long. Great product!!!

This one works better when the Penstar Engine. It also run the Engine a little cooler. I think its because the thermostat opens earlier or at correct temperature. Not sure. It maybe that it reads the temperature differently vs the plastic one.I also replaced the thermostat with metal/aluminum since the plastic one kept going bad. Went bad 3 times with in 2 months.
