I honestly don't know what the negative reviews are about. I haven't officially staked these in the ground yet. But putting one together to test it out, I'm very impressed. I ordered more after the initial delivery (I wanted to test the quality) I'm super stoked and prepared for planting season!!😁

Used it for tomato stakes. Will know more when they’re fully grown and tied up. Confident they will work out for my purposes.

I was a bit surprised when they arrived that they were a build it yourself system. Might have been in the description but i obviously missed it if it was. However they were hands down my favorite. I will never buy the galvanized cages again. It was a simple snap together design but super sturdy to carry the load of a fully loaded tomato plant. Plus you could build them as tall as you needed so if you have a prolific grower like my Matt’s Wild Cherry plant you can just keep building taller.Loved them!

I have the cage indoor, encasing two, ''Large Red Cherry'', indeterminate tomato plants, each in a 6 liter DWC set up. A 150W luminary atop, and an old t5ho for side lighting comprises my all-too-tiny, winter tomato grow space! And in the middle of that, say 7-sq.ft space is the green tomato cage. Ideal, except for the "space" issue. Indeterminates toms grow like a vine, and though the three plant stand package can do wonders for a plant or three, my problem is space! Not germane to topic, but I thought I would throw it in.Smaller diameter than what I had expected, but sturdy enough to erect to a free-standing 5 feet. At that height, or higher, I would anchor the base in an appropriate way.I am using the stand at about 40 inches high, currently. Works perfectly.I was wondering about the sturdiness of erecting a single stand with the (3x unit) surplus hardware, allowing for a sky-scraper tomato cage! With enough guy-wire and McGivering, such a cage could envelop a 10 foot vertical vined-tomato plant!Bar lengths, when fit, run around 15-inch and 10-inch, so there are variable setups possible. All components seem of optimal quality, and those tomato branch/stem clamps are nothing short of genius!!!Do I recommend? What ya think?! Get em while they are this inexpensive!

Purchase 6 of these cages. Tomatoes and tomatillos did not need any additional support this summer. A five rating would have been provided but two connectors broke when taking apart for the winter It would be nice if spare parts could be purchased.
