What a pleasant surprise! This stand is perfect for your music room where you might need to set your guitar down to attend to something else. Stand is secure and your guitar is safe. The stand has strips of rubber on it to protect your instrument. Please note that I am using the stand for an acoustic guitar. Also, no stand is going to protect your instrument if you or someone runs into it. Stand is very attractive solid wood.
