Great value. Looks awesome - with Fender strat. Deduct one star due to lack of cushioning in package - puts wood at risk of damage during shipping.

Scratched my American telecaster, only realised after about 9 months. The rubber shifted and now the guitar sits in the plastic. Cheap product. Get a regular guitar stand…

As can be seen, the way the cutouts are designed it can accommodate an electric guitar or a dreadnought-style acoustic. It did not work well for a mid-depth Ovation guitar. It consists of two pieces that slide together, and I can say that getting it all the way interlocked was somewhat difficult and it helped to support the side you are not pushing on with a hard surface. with a fair amount of effort, it was accomplished. The pieces themselves are made of particle board with a veneer, definitely not high-end in appearance, but after all, this is about seventeen USD. The periphery of it is lined with foam rubber and it works reasonably well. I would not use with a nitro finish. Here have a picture with an Ibanez s521 and it works really great for this and I trust it. With the dreadnought, the angle it is holding it is too vertical for my taste and and I don't plan to use it at all for an acoustic. updating this as I took a guitar on vacation and put this in the outside pocket of a padded gig bag and I could make it fit. a small bit of it poked out of the bag, but it was definitely workable. It would easily it into a suitcase.

This stand is the perfect sized for average shaped Acoustic guitars. You may be able to fit an electric in a pinch, but it does not hold the guitar nearly as well as stands with a neck support.It is low profile, I was able to slide the tail end under my table 5"-6" without the tabletop contacting the guitar, saving even more space. I will most definitely be using this while practicing and during jams as a quick pick-up and put-down spot.Super easy to move, too. It's light, and is only two pieces slotted together. It's no sweat breaking it down into two stackable boards to take with you. Probably could fit it in most guitar bag pouches.Can't speak for it's durability for gigging, though. The wood is not exactly super strong so it may not hold up to abuse if you are rough with your equipment. Should be just fine for small shows like an acoustic set at a cafe or bar.

I’m definitely digging this stand! A very simple design with looks and functionality. Putting it together is a done in a snap and breaks down for easy storage. Like I said, the looks of it is really nice and it looks great in my living room and studio. However, I don’t fully trust it holding an electric guitar. It seems awkward and doesn’t extend high enough to support the top of the body.. imo, it’s more for acoustic guitars. For the price point and if on a budget you might want to check it out.

I have no great complaints with this guitar stand. The design is simple and well engineered: just two notched boards that fit together. It is easily assembled and disassembled for storage or travel. Construction appears to be laminated pressboard with foam edging. The edging is securely adhered to the stand and should not roll. As it degrades over time, I expect the foam may get sticky as some rubber and plastics do, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. Notwithstanding the pressboard, the stand looks nice enough for a living room, and holds both electric and acoustic guitars just fine. Overall, for the money, this guitar stand is worth consideration.

This does indeed do as advertised. I've tried both an acoustic guitar and ukulele in it, and have settled on using it for the ukulele. It is extremely lightweight, but it doesn't fall over when it's holding the instrument. The finish is nice and it does not scratch the floor underneath it at all. Overall I recommend this product.
