The motherboard came with thermal paste around the CPU socket. The heat protectors on M.2 shields were already removed.The board had some scratches.

I purchased this for my first PC build and I couldn’t be more happy! The installation process was really easy. The only thing I would have liked is if the JRGB header was on the side or somewhere more out of the way so the cables wouldn’t be as visible. I ended up buying 60$ worth of cable extensions/splitters but most are just for cosmetic purposes. The accents are silver but look white in my build which is nice. I paired this with my Intel i5 12400f CPU. It’s a great price for what you get and I definitely recommend it for beginners. 10/10 ♡

I did a lot of research for my first build in over 20 years. I looked at many reviews and it seemed that this Motherboard was THE ONE to get if you are to do a B660 build.I assembled my PC without issues, the motherboard was solid, seems well built and had no issues mounting my devices on it. I like the heat sinks and think it also looks nice.I didn't do much in the bios but the interface was nice. I didn't have a ton of expectations from a motherboard but I enjoyed my experience with this one.

The MSI PRO B660M-A WiFi DDR4 Motherboard arrived on the date expected, I didn't have any issues with it. The only thing I would mention is that the drivers came on a CD, not a USB stick, luckily I had an external DVD reader laying around. This likely wouldn't be a big deal for most people, but I only had a WIFI connection in the room where I am using the PC and it would not connect until I installed the drivers.I used with with the Intel Core i5-12400 processor and didn't need to update the BIOS in order to use it (although there was a BIOS update available that installed later). The manual on the MSI site is much better than the one that came in box. The motherboard has two CPU power connections, one is 8 pin and the other is 4. I seen this cause some issues for people online, buy my PSU had both connections. Another thing I would like to mention is that it has two SYS_FAN connections (in addition to the CPU and pump fan connection), so if you would like more fans you may want to use splitter or hub.

Easily one of the best value B660 out there. Can handle a 12700 no sweat.Even though it was way too overkill for my 12100f I couldn’t deny the $110 prime deals price. Installed it just a week ago and so far it’s been smooth sailing ever since. One tip I can give you though is to pre-install all the drivers (Especially the wifi/ethernet) on a usb stick from MSI’s website since I couldn’t use the ethernet without the drivers and had to download the drivers from my laptop and transfer to my PC.Pros:- Great heatsinks and VRMs, ready to handle all but the most high-end alder lake CPUs- Nice and modern look of the motherboard, no gamery colors or unnecessary LEDs for a clean and professional look- 4 Video output ports on the motherboard (2 HDMI 2 DP) for people who are into that stuff- Worked with my 12100f with no BIOS updates or any settings needing configuration- Great price (But not as good as when it was $110 in prime day)- Takes DDR4 ram, this is a big pro for people on a budget since you don’t need expensive ram but a small con for people with a big budget since DDR5 has very little impact on performance from the benchmarks I’ve seen- M-ATX size fits almost all cases out there- Nice and solid M.2 heatsink on one of the slots that works greatCons:- No usb-c port on the back. Not necessarily a worry for me but can be a big con for some- M-ATX size comes with a con of having a lot less of pretty much everything compared to an ATX board from PCI-E ports to fan ports- The first board I received came with the cpu cover already off and multiple pins on the board bent. Though this is not a fault of the board or the manufacturer and I have received a brand new one after a quick chat with an Amazon employee and returning the faulty one.Overall I’d recommend this board to anyone from people going for a cheap, low-end build (like me) to people going for a higher end build. Though one thing I heard is that the LGA 1700 socket has a detrimental problem of bending CPUs, the best 2 options I have seen is to either purchase a bending-correction frame from Thermaltake or installing 1mm washers under the socket to lessen the stress on the CPU. I’d consider this before installing your CPU as once you push that lever down your CPU might be bent irreversibly.

I bought this product for my first ever pc build. I am quite pleased with it. Fairly small and fits well into my case. The headers were easy to locate and the manual was quite useful. My 1 complaint is that the pins for 1 of the USB 2.0 headers were bent. But everything else was very nice. I would recommend this product.

The MSI B660m Mortar Wi-fi DDR4 motherboard is a solid choice and a very well made product. It has won several B660 motherboard shootouts on various youtube channels, and for good reason. The VRM's and Power delivery system are the best available in the B660 motherboard space, with only the Asus Rog Strix series being comparable. But they cost nearly $60. more. The MSI Mortar has a 6 layer PCB, and it makes for a very solid, flex free feel to the board. The audio chip is a newer Realtek ALC1200, which is a step above other motherboards at this price point. It can easily handle an Intel 12700k CPU with an appropriate CPU cooler.I found the bios to be very user friendly, and the board has been fully stable running a four stick memory kit. The VRM's run cool and last but not least, the board looks great. I would highly recommend it.

Buen diaHace poco compre una tarjeta madre con el fin de actualizar mi set up de hace tiempo, lo primero que llamo la atención es su diseño, lo bien que esta hecho su caja, como acomodan los accesorios, se nota que se toman en serio la presentación del producto, además de estar en vuelta en plástico anti estática. Elegí la B660 TOMAHAWK MSI, debido a que yo tengo GPU de esta marca y ya van 7 años sin tener problemas, por lo que esta claro que su prioridad es la calidad, y durabilidad que es raro en una compañía de tecnología. Me encanta.

Relación calidad precio inmejorable por 109€ que estuvo en oferta. Muy buena calidad lo tengo montado en un 12400 y sin problema podrían con otros procesadores más potente, siempre y cuando no quieras hacer overlock.
