My dad needed a new computer badly. He had an all-in-one piece of junk for the last 7 years and it always had problems. I was considering an AM4 build for him but saw this while browsing. It’s a great beginner AM5 motherboard. It has 2 fan headers which was a pleasant surprise to see since most matx boards I’ve seen have 1. I used an 8500G cpu and it worked great. Didn’t have to update the BIOs. It’s a pretty basic board but it has an ARGB header as well. I didn’t use a GPU as he doesn’t need one for the work he does, so I can’t speak to that. But.. Overall it seems like a solid budget matx AM5 board. Will definitely purchase again for future builds.

Perfect choice if you are on budget.No problem with DDR5 6400 and R7 7700.Only thing you miss will be motherboard RGB, but you can use 3RD party or your case RGB control.

worked out of the box with ryzen 5 8600g. It seems stable, all works, but haslimited number of peripherals.. OK for daily usage

Even with the latest BIOS and AMD chipset driver, the HDMI output from this motherboard has compatibility issue. The CPU I'm using is 8500G. The VGA port works without issues; however, the HDMI port doesn't work with my older Acer VA 1080P/75Hz monitor. Even for my brand new Samsung 1080P/75Hz monitor, the HDMI output refresh rate will only go up to 60Hz. When I change to 75Hz, I get blank screen. BIOS and Drver definitely need more work, and I'm disapointed at the product.

Great budget motherboard. Worked out of the box with a 7500F and 2x16GB of 6000MHz Kingspec memory. No extra drivers or anything needed under Kubuntu 24.04 with an AMD GPU.Be aware if you want to use a more powerful CPU on this board, it will be throttled. Best to stick to 65W chips or spend a few bucks extra on another board.

This really broke my son’s heart! I bought it for him as a birthday gift and hid it from him and today when he opened it he was so disappointed and sad. The motherboard had a bent pin. This product is not eligible for a return because I bought it way too early!! Do no waste your money!!!

The motherboard is absolutely capable of running CPU's up to 7800x3d (I am using a 7500f). I am using a downdraft cooler to cool the VRM (since there is a lack of them here)If you do get a newer CPU be mindful that there is no flashback button because you will need to update the bios.After a bios update, boot times, memory compatability and cpu compatibility are all fine. To summarize, if you understand your hardware then this is by far the best AM5 budget motherboard by a country mile for price to performance.Last note, there is only 1 x 4 pin RGB header (no argb 3 pin)

It's cheap and it works. I was having some weird issues with the graphics display not showing randomly.It also wouldn't restart properly. I could turn it on and off but if I used the restart function in windows it would just turn off the display but never fully power down and just be stuck like that.Updated the BIOS to the October 2024 version and all the issues I was having were fixed.

Inexpensive, simple, but with all the features I could want. No wifi but I didn't need that. Arrived in perfect condition. Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32 gig clk 30 6000mhz AMD expo ram and Ryzen 7600 cpu installed easily and booted up on first power up. Was ready with a Bios update and Win11 install USB and updated and installed with zero issues. Cpu with stock wraith cooler runs between 42 and 52C. Not sure why other bad reviews exist because my experience has been excellent.

For only 95 pounds it's a steal but be sure to update the bios to the latest version as the boot times were horrendous out of the box. Don't worry about the lack of overclocking support because my Ryzen 5 7600 ran at 5ghz out the box.
