great looking board. if bought on amazon warehouse, it tends to be a good deal. i would recommend only getting on warehouse due to the cost savings, without the savings it become a $200+ board and at that point, i would look at other options for alittle more money. reason why i say this is the lack of features like no type c front i/o header. no built in rgb on the motherboard, though it does have a few 12v and 5v rgb headers for lights and fans. it could use a few more fan headers aswell. great for a ryzen 5 or 7 set up but i wouldnt go with a ryzen 9. its one of the cheaper x570 motherboards, but its a cheaper option then many b550 boards. with more pci-e gen 4 lanes

Used it for a friend’s PC build (I bought it for him, he doesn’t have an Amazon account). It had no compatibility errors with the rest of his build (according to pcpartpicker) and made for an easy build that worked on its first boot. I will definitely be buying myself one when I build my Ryzen build later this year.

I have seen many reviews where it says its a lower end motherboard but it works fine for us. No issues at all. The only thing I want to mention is that being that its been a long time since i built a machine it fooled me in thinking it had a built in video card since it had a video (hdmi) slot. Apparently it would work if i had a cpu xxxG in the model name for gpu.

This is my first PC build and this motherboard was good to work with. Has all the features I need, and is compatible with my Corsair SPEC-Delta case, which has RGB fans :)

don't know why gigabytes bios is so boring. so visuals for temps and fan rpm, everything is hidden in some menu somewhere. my old ga-z87mx-d3h has a better bios than this.

Por donde empiezo, estuve a punto de regresar la tarjeta porque mi equipo no encendía cuando instale el nuevo Ryzen 5000; ciertamente esta tarjeta es compatible con los nuevos Ryzen sin embargo hay un pequeño detalle; necesita actualizar el bios para que detecte el procesador nuevo, sino ni si quiera el equipo pasará a la parte de POST y por lo tanto no podrás acceder al bios para actualizarla.La manera facil:1.- Consigue un cpu mas viejos, si puedes prestado (un ryzen 3000 o 2000 por ejemplo)2- Enciende Windows normalmente3- Entra al sitio de gigabyte y baja los últimos BIOS que veas (en mi caso era la versión F30)4.- Actualiza usando el software de gigabyte en windows o entrando al bios y mete los nuevos.5.- Instala el nuevo CPU y no deberías tener problemasLa manera difícil, usando Q-Flash plus es cuando no puedes conseguir prestado o no tienes un cpu viejito para que encienda tu máquina y entres al bios, por lo que realmente el único cpu que tienes es el nuevo ryzen que te acabas de comprar, pero como tu tarjeta madre no esta actualizada no lo detecta y no muestra nada en pantalla ni te deja acceder al bios (que fue lo que me pasó a mi)1.- Necesitarás otra computadora o una tablet o un celular con un adaptador para USB tamaño normal y entrar al sitio de Gigabyte, ve al modelo de tu tarjeta madre y verifica bien que "revisión" es la tuya; en mi caso me llegó la rev 1.12.- Baja los drivers correspondientes (en mi caso F30 fue la última versión)3.- Descomprime el zip que descargaste y el archivo que veas que termina con "F30" (salvo que salga una nueva versión, tendrá el nuevo número) renómbralo como "GIGABYTE.BIN"4.- Guarda los archivos en una USB formateada con formato FAT325.- En tu tarjeta madre nueva (pero conectada a la fuente de poder con el cable de 12v y el cable ATX, aunque todo apagado), retira físicamente el CPU, la RAM y tarjeta madre. Si los tienes instalados Q-FLASH no actualizará los bios por seguridad.6.- Inserta la USB en la parte de atrás de la tarjeta madre en el puerto USB que dice "BIOS"7.- Ahora viendo de frente la tarjeta madre, busca un botón blanco muy pequeño que viene cerca de la parte inferior izquierda de la tarjeta (apoyate en el instructivo que viene, para ubicarlo mejor)8.- Ahora con la USB insertada y sin el CPU/RAM/TarjetadeVideo instalados, pero tu tarjeta madre conectada a la fuente de poder (aunque todo apagado), presiona por unos 10 segundos el botón blanco que activará la funcionalidad Q-Flash Plus. No hagas nada mas, el equipo solito debe encender.9.- Observarás una luz empieza a parpadear, no toques el equipo, esa luz indica que esta actualizando los BIOS.10.- Una vez que la luz se detenga de parpadear, el equipo seguirá con su procedimiento y se APAGARA SOLO, no tienes que hacer nada para apagarlo manualmente.11.- Ahora una vez que verificaste que el equipo se apagó, instala ahora si nuevamente la RAM/CPU/TarjetadeVideo y enciéndelo. Debería ya salirte el logo de Gigabyte y con el botón "borrar/suprimir" te debería dejar entrar al bios; ya en el bios verás que tu tarjeta madre esta actualizada y poder utilizar normalmente el equipo.La verdad dejo estos pasos, porque me tomó un par de días investivar que pasaba y pensar de que me había llegado una tarjeta defectuosa; pero realmente los procesadores ryzen 5000 son tan nuevos que las tarjetas no lo reconocen y no saben que hace, por lo que simplemente pareciera no funcionar.Fuera del tema lo demás lo observo bien, la tarjeta funciona sin problemas y el añadido del q-flash me salvó la vida al evitar tener que buscar otro cpu solo para actualizar los bios. Actualizaré mi review conforme vea el comportamiento de la tarjeta los siguientes días.

I purchased this when the Ryzen 9 3900 first came out. Then I unfortunately had a really hard time finding the chips for a long time. The CPU's just weren't available except for speculators trying to resell them at more than double the MSRP.After months of waiting, I finally caught speculators dumping their stock at MSRP instead of trying to price gouge and picked up the CPU to go with this board (Giagbyte x570 Gaming).Initially the system wouldn't post. After some trial and error I realized the CPU wasn't properly seated. For this board, you have to make sure you lift the lever on the CPU socket until the arm clicks and holds all the way open on its own. Failure to do so will prevent the CPU from seating fully. I am willing to bet many of the low reviews failed to pull the CPU level until it clicked open (it almost feels like you're going to break something)I also had to update the BIOS; that procedure went quickly and without issue. I understand people being afraid of damaging with a bad BIOS flash, however Gigabyte has done a great job of making it completely safe and foolproof. It's really no more than ten minutes added to your system build which in the grand scheme isn't much.Overall, I would say this is a great deal for the price. It has lots of features and does what it's supposed to
