Took a long time to get it set up but it is worth it in the end.

Cheapest LGA 1700 Motherboard on Amazon. Needed this for a budget PC I was building and it works just as advertised. I've purchased 5+ of these in the last few years since I build and sell computers, and I've never had an issue with one.

I had some apprehension about it due to its size but it fit absolutely everything I needed, even my after market CPU cooler and my RTX3080.I would have given it 5 stars but there are two things that take that last star away. The PCIe-x1 slot gets covered by the GPU. In case I wanted to add a WiFi modem I can't. I know this is the GPU's fault but the engineers should have had this in mind when designing the MOBO's architecture. The other small pet peeve I have was the location of the System Fan connector. It is on the opposite side of what you would consider the "back" of your rig, so you better get a system fan with a long enough cable (not difficult, just cumbersome) which adds to unnecessary cable management.Beyond those two aspects, I think this MOBO is quite amazing and brings great value for beginners and/or enthusiasts that do not require a gazillion PCIe slots, water cooling and other gimmicks.I would definitely buy it again for any other projects.

I tend to use MSI motherboards in most my PC builds. I needed a reliable board for a new NAS build, and picked this one because a) cost, I don't need a gaming rig, and b) DDR4 RAM is fine for a NAS or workstation. c) it was small enough. (wish they had an ITX version that was priced right)I did put a GPU on it only because TrueNAS can use it with the docker AI apps that I will run.

The Motherboard worked perfectly fine alongside all of the other conponents and the build is pretty much finished, however, when i recieved it, it dint have any of the sata cables, or the instruction manual or anything of the sort like it said in the description so i pretty much had to spend more money to get the cables and look online for the other stuff, which was not a fun time.

If you are looking for an entry level motherboard that will give some upgrade room then this motherboard should be a consideration. I used this mobo as part of the build I gifted ny godson and it has served him well. It will allow him to upgrade the processor if he sees fit.

This motherboard is great and has all you really need, I got it for only $104CAD on sale about $65 cheaper than the MSI PRO B660M-A after tax, I paired it with an I3 12100F, GTX 1070 FTW, and a single 16gb 3200Mhz stick of ram for now, I just swapped it with my old motherboard and my performance in 3DMark and other gaming applications improved A LOT over my E5-2650V2 Xeon setup while allowing me to get full use out of my 1070, it worked perfectly out of the box and the XMP feature was already enabled allowing the ram to overclock to it's max speed of 3200Mhz, the other reviewer saying it's "Not easy to setup" clearly is inexperienced and doesn't know what he's talking about, which is obvious when he complains about no onboard video when he tried to pair it with an F series processor, which doesn't have an iGPU, it literally says right on the 12th gen F series CPU box "Discrete Graphics Required".
