This heater I was worried about as it’s so cheap, but since the day I plugged it in and have had it running in my nano tank- the temperature has maintained EXACTLY temperature without fluctuation at all! It’s perfectly at 77 which is what it states it’s calibrated to at manufacture. I’m very impressed as I also have another fish tank with a very expensive heater and it doesn’t even maintain temp as well as this one does. Nicrew- please make larger sizes of this! Amazing

Bought this for a small 1/2 gallon fish tank. I followed instructions by placing it submerged in water for 30 minutes prior to plugging in. It warmed up the tank fairly quickly and has been working fabulous. Great product! Great price

So far works great. Heated water quick and has maintained a consistent temperature. Very small and fit in the back perfectly. My fish is very happy.

We keep our home cool and I never really thought that the temperature of the small tank we have for our betta might be too cool. I noticed that recently he did not seem himself and was not very active, and realized the water was too cold. This heater made such a difference, he is much happier and more active and his colours are brighter.I had read to let it sit in the tank for half an hour before turning it on and made sure to do that. It is so easy to use, no adjustments necessary. It attaches easily to the side of the tank, plug it in, and it heats to the proper temperature. The price was good as well.

It worked well for the less than two months it worked. In my 2 gallon tank, it still ran hot @ 80°. My betta was OK but I think he prefers 76ish... Just before the two month mark, it all of a sudden stopped working. Green light stayed on, but it was no longer heating. Caught my tank @ 67°. Luckily, it was just for half a day, and I'm hoping my guy recovers with no issues.

Small footprint heater works great on bottom of turtle tank. Baby turtle LOVES it and sleeps on it at night. Heck he hangs out on it all the time. Temps stay right at 77.1 degrees in low water. Cant speak to full tank. It seems solid and well built. So far I am impressed!Edit: Heater only lasted maybe 3 months then stopped heating. Green light stayed on but never a red light and water got cold. Had to replace with another band already. Would not recommend!

I’ve purchased the 15 watts before for my smaller tank and it works perfectly. You can tell by just feeling the glass that it’s warm and my betta is lively and comfortable. She even likes to sleep in between the heater (without getting stuck, she’s on the smaller side so please be wary your betta may try to explore and go behind the heater as well!)Now for my 5.5g tank I purchased the 35 watts. Thought I’d give it some time but nope, water is still very cold. Don’t know if it’s just the 35 watts model but I’ll definitely have to purchase another brand for this tank. Sucks!

It is really difficult to hide the "logistics" in a 5.5 gallon aquarium. This compact heater and a single sponge filter worked perfectly for me.I put the sponge filter and the 50 watt heater in one corner and planted rotala beside and in front of the duo. The logistics/mechanics are pretty much invisible.Note: I tried the 35 watt heater and found it to be under powered. The exchange for the 50 watt went very smoothly.

I have a 5 gallon shallow nano tank (height is 7 inches). Its tough to find a sleek, unobtrusive heater that doesn't look like a submarine or telescope totally ruining the effect of my aqua-scaping. This tank is more of a planted tank, with one betta and will soon have a few shrimp and otos. This one works for a number of reasons. Its small and is a slim rectangular shape without brand-lettering or silver tags to make it stick out. The cord is pliable and long enough exiting the tank. It fits the height of my shallow tank with a few inches to spare and the suction cups are very secure and won't pull off when you take it out to clean. It does have a red light to tell you its heating, but thankfully not distracting and in your face (its very tiny and its placed on the top of the unit along with a green light to let you know when its running at 77 degrees. This is very nice and minimalistic. I have checked the water temp several times now with a TDS meter and a traditional glass thermometer and it is consistently 77 to 78 degrees. Very happy with it. Also bought a 35 watt for a different smaller tank. Same results. Definitely worth the price.

It's definitely warming up the water in my aquarium, but it still feels a bit cold. I just put it in the tank today, hoping the water temp just needs to stabilize. The light is red when it heats, then turns green but my thermometer says the water is 75 degrees. Also, it was a chore getting the suction cups to stick but I made it happen. The flat, compact size makes the heater look sleek.*So I did end up having to swap it out for a replacement, and the temperature is at 77 degrees. My fish are happier and more active. I have a 4 gallon aquarium, so it's best to stick with around 10 watts per gallon with this particular heater. Also, I found the suction cups will hold it in place if you put water into the aquarium before installing the heater. Changed my rating to 4 stars.*

It automatically turns off when out of water, and then starts working again when submerged. Suction is great, and profile is small. Preset temp of 75/76 is great for most aquariums. This keeps my 20 gallon warm, but it won't be good for more than 5-10 gallons if you don't have a lid that keeps in evaporation. It kept both my 10g and 20g at that 75/76 so it's not just an undersizing issue.I wanted it for a fry tank, which needs to be at 78-80. Ended up getting a different adjustable heater for the fry. This one is great though for the adults.
