  • 3/8" Thick Rubber Paddle: The size of the 3/8" thick rubber paddle is 2"W x 5"L, which is made of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR rubber),with minimum tensile strength of 725 PSI (5 MPA). The hole 304 stainless steel straps is approx 1 3/8" W x 3 3/4" L, 1/16" thick.
  • Bolts & Lock Nuts:The hex bolts is 5/16-18 x 1 in coarse thread with w/ 5/16-18 lock nuts(use 1/2" wrench & socket to install). The package also comes 9 piece self-tapping screw, all of them made of 304 stainless steel materials.
  • Functions: This snow blower impeller modification kit reduces the existing "gap" between the snow blower's impeller blades and the impeller chamber wall. The smaller the gap, the higher the operating efficiency and snow throwing ability of the machine, and the less likely that the machine is to be blocked by snow.

Very nice but you need to make sure tha your impellers don’t have reinforcement on the back side or it will not work. The mounting bolts won’t work.

The claim that the metal components are 304 stainless steel is not what I received. I could pick up a number of pieces with a small pocket magnet which is not compatible with 304 stainless. Stainless was the deciding factor in my decision. The dependability and longevity of the rubber paddles has yet to be determined since the fallen snow is melted and no snow is predicted. An update will be forthcoming after a couple of uses. On the positive side - the installation looks good, and I fully expect the modification to allow the blower to throw the snow much better. The three-star rating is one step higher perhaps than I feel is deserved but I would rather err on the side of mercy than not. I see a lack of integrity in their advertising claim.

The kit is great. After installing I decided to try it out on slushy snow it never plugged once... it will blow snow about 10 feet further now... it took about 40 minutes to install... I did have to cut them to fit .. well worth the money

After some cutting and modification of the rubber paddles and steel straps to fit my snowblower's impeller, it was a perfect fit. Although there is no snow yet, I feel more airflow than normal through the chute so I believe that it will throw more snow further than ever before.
