I’ve been looked for this for ages. Finally found a the item and does exactly what I needed. This doesn’t come up easily on a search and I hope this will help you find it.

It is not the bad webcam cover, but it's too wide even for a laptop, let alone a cell phone.

You might be thinking, "Well he probably ordered the wrong size." Nope. It isn't the width or length that is wrong. It's doesn't fit over any of my devices: Phone, tablet, tablet PC. It's quite literally useless. I guess you would call it depth? I wonder if it would even fit over an ultrathin device.

I had seen other reviews point out that these covers (3 come in an order) are not very tight. While I agree that they just kind of sit on there - this is exactly what I am looking for. I am a home worker and my Macbook is here along side me 12 hours a day and I might have 4 or so video calls per day - I like being able to remove the put back at will without pressing on my screen like a clamp would do, scratching it up like a tighter fit would do or sticking something on with adhesive. What I have done is to keep one of the filters inside my bag for use "on the road" and the one here I will just take off, slide over slightly, or leave it in place. This product is well designed for my specific use, if you are looking to be able to close your Mac with this in place you will be disappointed. I on the other hand feel this is designed exactly as I would have preferred and is not destructive in any way. Perfect, strong recommend.
