All my rods are 12 or 15 feet rods so I wanted something a little smaller that can handle the same load and casting distance and this rod did not disappoint…no problem pulling in a 6’ black tip or a 53 inch bull…rod is great

This Okuma rod is a fisherman’s dream. 8’6” long, titanium coated eyes, medium weight for medium size fish 10-20 lbs, yet strong enough to tackle larger fish and amazingly light weight.I will use this rod for trolling with stainless steel line, targeting deep water lake trout.Recommended

My shipping box is absolutely fine, but when I opened up the box to inspect the rod, it appeared somebody was using this fishing rod as a ladder or a step. All the eyelids were knocked out and all crushed and around the handle section was broken so if I caught one salmon with this, it would’ve snapped the rod in half anyways. I read reviews have people received these all broken and thought that can’t happen to me and it did.
