Works really well, almost too well. Very quiet, but has a little light on it that can bother you overnight if you're really sensitive to light when you're sleeping like I am. It works really well at getting to temperature and maintaining that temperature, however if you have fish that are particularly temperature sensitive, make sure to check the temperature regularly, just stick your finger in it and see if it seems too warm. I set up the tank and this heater a little while before getting a fish so that it could get up to temp and I noticed that it got a little warmer than expected and turned it off. It comes with a little sticker thermometer, but it doesn't give an exact temperature, it gives a range of temperatures and ones it goes above a certain temperature, it won't display it if it goes below that temp, so I recommend getting a thermometer if you're feeling particularly nervous about it, but overall it's a really good product and I really like it. It gets up to temp in a good time and maintains that temp well

Works well.for under 6 gal tanks eventually this heater would be more ideal for up to 4 gallon tanks anything else is a struggle

I have a 3g and 25watts was suggested, but it’s best to get a slightly stronger wattage. My bedroom temperature fluctuates a lot but most of the time it’s cold. I can see the indicator lights switch from red to green frequently, and my baby betta lingers close to the heater which just shows me not all the water in the tank is heating up properly.Save yourself some time, and move up a slightly stronger wattage than what you’re looking for if you have an aquarium in a cold room.

First aqua heater I’ve owned. I have a 5gal tank for my betta and he seems to be thriving and very happy with the warmer water. And in fact he spends a good bit of time swimming up to the heater, grazing around it, then happily swimming along. 😀 It keeps the tank roughly 77/78 at all times in my home that I keep fairly cool at 69.

Works amazingly! I thought it was broken because the light kept switching from red to green but it seems that the red means that the water is heating and green means it’s reached its ideal temperature. So be aware of that if you see that after you buy it.
