Priced at £10 I found this metal hood was a perfect fit for Sony lens and was a good alternative to the 'petal' style hood.

Lens is good but unfortunately if you are using lens at 18mm the lens hood shows in photograph.

Does what it should - prevents flare and protects lens. Air you keep it attached to the lens, you cannot fit a cap.
