Didn’t work as well as I had hoped. Gave up using with my electrics but have it on my acoustic now to give some added balance while standing and playing.

Good price. Solid product. Long enough for adjusting to a desired length. Will buy again.

I sold my Music Man Stingray because it was getting to heavy for me and I listed my favorite P bass for the same reason. Getting old, which is better than the alternative! Thank God nobody bought the P Bass. A friend mentioned the dual strap so I thought I would give it a try. With it, I have no problem playing the P bass for a couple of sets. Also the guitar sits more upright on my ample gut, naturally, so I don't have to pull it in with my right arm and I find my arthritic fingers more much more freely as a result. I have a bass that likes to nose dive and this stops that altogether. This strap is also a cure for the tilt and dive on a McCartney bass.

I didn't want to drill a strap peg in the neck of my J45, so was looking for a solution to connect the strap to the headstock. This works perfectly. I have a bunch of straps, and they all work great with this. No brainer.

I've been using a shoe string for decades, and only recently decided to see if there are any alternatives. I found this option and decided to give it a try.Installation is a breeze, and the buckle feels very secure. The buckle is similar to the typical chest strap buckle of a backpack, but more slick looking and narrow.Others here said that they struggle to open and close the buckle, but I've had no issues like that. Maybe they had defective units? Mine works great. It's easy to use and also feels secure.Assuming that they keep making these strap holders, I will never use a shoe string again.

Once you wrap it around the head stock it is very short. Depending on your playing style it could impede access to the fret board. It would be nice if they made one with a longer large loop. say 4 inches longer. to keep the hardware out of the way.

When purchasing a Planet Waves quick-release guitar strap (reviewed separately) I also bought a couple of these so that I could add them to other, normal guitar straps if the need ever arose. If you have a guitar that lacks a top strap button and you don't fancy your chances at being able to fit one yourself without damaging something, these are ideal. Simply tie one end around the neck of the guitar above the nut as normal (you can just pass the lace around the neck, pass the clip through the loop and pull it tight for a secure fit) and then tie the other end to your favourite guitar strap (again, just pass the lace through the normal button-hole on the strap and then pass the clip through the loop and pull tight). Job done! When you clip the two halves together, you have one end of your strap securely fastened to the head of the guitar while the other end can then be fastened to a bottom strap button as normal.Of course, if your guitar also lacks a bottom strap button, then this doesn't solve all your problems and you're probably going to have to resort to a bit of woodworking anyway, but at least you'll only need to fit one rather than two.
