Clamp strength, no problem. Russ resistant don’t know yet both stays in Cover. Ease of movement is good. installation very easy. Fishing ability, perfect for my boat.

These fishing rod holders absolutely, positively deserve a 5-star rating! Even though my Jeep is a 4-door model (aka Unlimited), it's still short enough that transporting rods was always difficult, particularly the one-piecers - until I bought these bad boys a few weeks ago. I'm very impressed by how securely they clamped on to my front bumper's brawler bar (please see the attached pic). With the rubber straps attached and foldovers closed my rods are always safe, even with lipped crankbaits tied on and driving at highway speeds of 70 mph.The only improvement opportunity that I see in the engineering design of these rod holders is with the foldover - I wish that it had a locking mechanism (please see the attached pic). But please recognise that this is me picking nits because these rod holders are truly awesome!
