Works well in its intended application.I do wish it was about 2' shorter, because that's how long the hose was before I put this insulating cover on it. Unfortunately, the cover is 5" long and I had to extend the hose a bit, taking up more space in my room, than it otherwise did before.Also, the cover does add some mass, so the hose will pull a bit more on the plastic fittings in both the window vent and the AC unit itself - you may want to put something under the hose to carry some of the extra mass.But overall, it does a good job of preventing any hot air in the air hose from radiating into your interior room. Was not hard to install beyond having to extend the length of my air hose.

This works far better than I was expecting it to, and the installation was also quite easy compared to how I thought it was going to go. Now if only I could say the same thing about the rest of the window kit I got this for, I would have been much happier

Easy to install and insulates very well. I also had a problem with the exhaust hose falling off my portable AC, but adding this wrap helped stabilized it. Excellent product
