Doesn't stay on for long and it slides off automatically. Poor quality lost all of them within a week because I had to keep replacing them on my phone. as soon as phone touches anything it will fall off.

I was looking specifically for a sliding camera cover for my iPhone and iPad, but most covers offered on Amazon are made for computer webcams, and are too large and bulky for a mobile device. I came across these ones and decided to take a chance, and I'm happy to say they work beautifully with my phone and tablet. As you can see in the photos, they're very small and discreet—about the size of a fingernail. The adhesive is strong enough to stay on when rubbed against, but still has enough give so that you can easily pull it off and re-position it in case you stuck it on wrong the first time.I feel much safer knowing that nobody is potentially watching me through my camera, however make sure to remember to shut the cover when you're done with the camera, otherwise it defeats the purpose!

only problem i had - i needed it for my iphone & after applying it the facial recognition no longer works .

I like how thin and small it is, I don't like the bulky looking ones and so far it's stayed on all of the laptops I've put them on. The adhesive is good, it's a 3M adhesive and usually their stuff is good.

So far so good! When they are open, they do not overcrowd the camera on my laptop (macbook), and when they are closed, the view is completely black, no gaps for light to enter. They also leave enough room on each side for the little light that comes on to alert you when your camera is being used. They are thin enough to not interfere with the magnetic close mechanism the laptop has, either. I was also concerned that they'd be difficult to shut, but it moves smoothly and easily, due to the slight texture to them that allows them to grip your finger, but stays where you put it. Also glad it comes with 6 of them, that's a good amount, I feel. Lastly, the adhesion is pretty good. Could maybe afford to be the tiniest bit stickier, but since they are so light, this shouldn't be a problem.

I have been using the webcam cover for over a week and traveled with it. The adhesive is strong and holds well, even after multiple hard slides to open and close the cover. If the laptop is similar in color or dark, the cover blends in perfectly.Overall, it is a great product to use and comes in handy at this time when most of our meetings, social gatherings, school work, and information sessions are online.

There has been a significant increase in web based meetings with the change to the increased work from home environment during 2020 due to Covid-19. To prevent unwanted surprises or accidental web-cam viewing I had previously used the sticky portion of a post-it note. That worked but did not look good so I wanted a more permanent and professional looking solution. The ProCase Webcam Cover Slide was perfect for my needs and looks like it is integrated and an original part of my laptop. Honestly, you don't even notice that the cover is there because it blends naturally with the color of the laptop. Instillation was easy and you simply slide the Webcam Cover to open or close access to your webcam.
