I didn't use these as oar lock adapters. I put a bolt through them and attached a fish finder to one, and a rod holder to the other making them compatible with Scotty mounts. Took a little ingenuity, but it worked great.

These fit the Scotty pole holder mounts and allow you to adapt about anything you want to stick in one of those mounts. I live on a older 50' wood yacht. I used one of the pair to mount my stainless BBQ. It drops in, is adjustable, locks in place and cannot fall overboard. Still easily lifts out and stows away. Leaving the pole holder mount for well pole holders or whatever. Very handy and corrosion proof.

I must say any Scotty product you buy is an outstanding value. I didn't purchase this product for it's intended use. I used these post adapters for making cup holders,for the Scotty rod holder bases. All you need is the Scotty Oar Lock Adapter,and a 5/16 bolt,washer,and nut.
