These fishing pole holders work great! They are well made and are a great value for the price. They have a slide lock to keep the pole in place which is easy to move when you get a bite. They hold the rod while you can relax and enjoy the day fishing.

Pas super solide, et la poignée ajustant la rotation latérale est difficile d'accès, donc difficile (voir impossible) de serrer très fort et le porte-canne tourne involontairement, ne permettant alors pas de maintenir l'angle souhaité (perpendiculaire à la chaloupe) de la canne à pêche.

I received the rod holders and both were as expected, good quality and materials. The only items I would say for me were two things:1. There is a circular ring at the bottom that wraps around the bottom of the rod to hold it from flipping back and I noticed there there is no lock or something to lock in place. Over time I can see this ring sliding back and not staying in place.2. The ring again, is too low and some of my rods with shorter handles barely get held in place by this plastic ring. So I had to use a snap tie to keep it from falling out of the boat. One rod did fall so that’s why I had to do this.Would have gave it 5/5 if that Rod “ring” was better designed.
