For under 30$, you have to set realistic expectations, but at the same time no one wants a hose for compressed air to blow up, so there is a minimum expectation that I have regardless of the price. This hose appears well made in term of connectors, but the hose itself seems... brittle. I'm not sure it would survive a lot of abuse of being stepped on once too many times.I think however that this is a great starter hose if you are on a limited budget and will be able to take care of it and not abuse it.So for a DIY use, sure, it's fine, for a daily use: I would be looking for something else and expand my budget significantly.

This is a decent light duty air hose, ideal for small compressors or blowing dust from shop projects. The hose has reasonable elasticity, but did lose some of its shape after being extended regularly. I have to be careful to make sure the coils don’t catch on one another, or the line will kink and make a permanent pinch point, a common problem with hoses of this style. The fittings are aluminum, and both the male and female provided good, airtight connections. This hose is competitively priced, and the quality is on par with others of it’s style.

Ok, but looses it's springiness so does not fully retract after extension.
