It works pretty good. I used it to attach a hardware cloth to chainlink fence and it made my project much easier and quicker. I do like that the plier which is spring loaded, it holds the hog ring in place without having to keep pressure on the pliers handles and prevents the hog rings from falling out. I am quite happy with the quality, ease of use and the value. Good purchase!

j'avais un siège chauffant dans mon auto qui ne fonctionnait pas, il fallait enlevé la couverture pour remplacer l'élément chauffant et remonter le tissus cette ensemble est assez complet et ça m'a permit d'économiser de le remplacer moi même que le concessionnaire, j'ai remonter mon siège, attaché le tissus avec ce kit et rien n'y parait

I haven't had any problems with them and they work great for me. The hog rings mount in a vice, stay in place, are easy to close the right way, and seem to be quite sturdy. I was able to use them to reupholster my car seats without any problems.

Has been used on fencing the yards and so far working well. We did shoot a few rings around but once we got the hang of it, works well. Everything needed and so easy to use. They have rubber on the handles but we still used the gloves to protect hands. The case is a nice finish to the set keeping everything in one place. It made fencing quicker than it was originally going with makeshift tools. The kit comes with a nice carry case, pliers (spring loaded), gloves and 3 sizes of rings/staples. Other sizes are readily available to purchase. Would recommend.

Edit: It seems that the unit I received is defective as the grooves in the jaws are not deep enough to properly hold the rings. Compare my picture to the ad, theirs is much deeper. The seller issued me a refund.It does not work well with the 3/8" hog rings which is the reason I bought it. Once it starts to close the ring shoots out of the pliers before closing fully which makes it useless for my purposes.This does not happen with the larger rings provided.

Had removed my leather seat covers on my RX7 and had to reattach those clips, this tool worked well, glad I purchased this kit, many clips that you will need if you’re clumsy like me, enjoyed my project when you have the right tools
