Doesn't leak if properly installed, you do have to tightly screw them in, if they are loose they will leak, spilt a few drops from experience 😆. The baby has to suckle to get the milk so there is not much encouragement to try it. But once you have an hungry goat they figure it out pretty fast. Even our special boy got the hang of it fast.

I have a 5week old goat bottle fed since day 4 using Prichard nipples. She refuses to suck on this. It seems to short and fat relative to the goats mouth and to the female goats teat.While the title has goat in it I would try something else. On a side note it seems very well made durable and attached to the jug easily

Ok I would recommend these nipples to everyone and anyone! The lambs love them and were so easy to start them on. Ha ha ha. So I don’t read through the comments enough. But if anyone wants to know the hole you drill into the bucket is 1 1/2 inches.
