I have one of those electric barrel style concrete mixers, which has worked great... but if I’m just doing a small job, I don’t want to get that out. This handheld mixer is a great alternative for those small projects.This unit is heavy-duty, but doesn’t weigh so much as to be tiring to use. The handles are comfortable, which is important when you’ll probably be holding them under load for extended periods.The motor has good power and can handle a lot of torque. I’ve mixed both bagged concrete mix and bagged mortar. I’ve never had an electric tool that came with replacement brushes, which is a little concerning. So far, it has held up well and I haven’t had to swap out the brushes.

Grout- non sanded got ruined with blue bucket shaves. Thinset can't be thick and max 1/2 bucket. Smels burning when more resistance. Probably great for paint.Not awful, just low key hobby thing.
