The buttons work for locks and remote start, however the proximity part does not work well.On an origianl remote, as long as the FOB was with you, you could start the car. However these require being the in FOB programming spot, in my case the font cup holder. And it normally takes some fiddeling to get it to recognize it so you can start the car.

Great product…easy to program. Watched a YouTube video and saved myself money. I just had to pay to get the key cut.

Unfortunately following the how to videos online on how to program our fobs ourselves didn't work. We'll have to go to dealer anyway.

I was able to program them myself, using proceedure in the owner's manual. I had a locksmith cut the spare keys.

After programming them myself (don’t go to a dealer, just YouTube it. Save yourself money) I’ve never had an issue with them. One of them had a weak battery but those are easy to replace. I haven’t gotten the blanks cut yet for the key but I still have my original so it’s alright for now. Great value. Works perfect. My only issue is there’s no Chevy Bow tie, but if you have any free original, just swap the backs out.

I was really skeptical about buying because of the reviews I read. Also I had called the dealer and they told me that I needed a specific remote. I Also called a locksmith who was charging me over $290.00. I took the risk and bought this product. Product came sooner that they had indicated. I first went to a locksmith and had the key cut. Then I programmed the remote from a video I found on you tube. It worked perfectly. Thank God for YouTube . You have to follow the instructions exactly as they say. I used this key for a 2019 Chevy Camaro. I couldn’t be happier with this product and I’m even happier with all the money I saved. I’m sorry about the bad reviews I can assure you this product works.
