Was missing bolts that held in the hand grips. Other than that all is good.

Improvment in design required: 1)-the vertical grab bar sliding bar could use one more hole for the adjustment knob so that there would be space and thus more comfortable position of the lower arms as the hands grab the vertical bar. I decided i i would remove adjust knob to get the extra inch. Therefore i use it without the adjustment knob in place. 2)-the distal end of the black vinyl covered foam cushion pad for the arms was too mobile. They should put in an extra 3rd bolt at the distal end. I secured the distal end of this black elbow cushion with 5 loops of black electrical tape and now its solid and wont move. Overall i think the price reflects the quality and yes i would buy it again because i can work around its minor shortcomings

Assembly was fairly clear and mounting holes are 16" apart on the frame. There are additional mounting holes on the sides which could also be anchored to the wall for support when using as a dip station. Kit was missing one nylock so had to replace. The lag bolts that are included are not for studs as they would only give about 1.25" of holding into the stud through the drywall so I upgraded to some beefier 4.5" bolts at the hardware store for about $6/4 bolts (second photo, upgrade on the right).

Well made, thank you.Only thing - holes do not align with my wall studs, which are standard 16" apart, so I had to add a 2x6 inbetween.

It is hard to say it's worth the money. First thing the holes are not 16 on center they are 18 inches apart. This means you can't have both mounting holes into the studs of the wall. This is bad. The anchors are about 3 inches and the 8 screws about 4 inches . However you can't screw that into the drywall that deep so it doesn't make sense. I hope that the makers are reading this. It would be so simple to put it at 16 inches. You have to assemble it fully and there are a lot of screws and washers. It really will take about 25 min to screw together. The instructions aren't the best. You shouldn't put the arm rest on until you mount it to the wall as the arm rest covers the holes.I'm going to drill holes 2 inches in so as to mount it securely to the studs in the wall. This will make it 16 on center.I'm also going to put a 2x4 across and mount that first to wall to dissipate the load. Then mount the until to the 2x4 .The metal seems solidStick to the recommendations or weight restrictions. Especially if you can only mount 1 side to the studs. In fact I wouldn't use this unit if you can't secure both sides.Too dangerous. All that said I would recommend it only if you are handy and know how to mount things safely as I described. You can't just screw into the wall and use it.The dip part seems a bit shakey and realistically it should have more than 1 screw to hold it in . The dip part is adjustable ,after a while if you even weigh 150 lbs. I think this screw may snap. I may glue it in permanently.
