I expected better with all the decent reviews. This pull-up bar can supposedly hold up to 500lb, but in actually was starting to bend and make noises with my 185lbs. Just not worth the money.

Easy to to install, and added a lat pulldown to it without issue. Did not take space in the basement.

Took a while to build but it came with all the parts luckily. I saw the reviews for the Red version and two people were missing parts, so I ordered the Black version (not Black2) as I wanted the straight base and rectangular tubes. It works well, it does give bend when in use so hopefully it doesn’t snap but I’ll update if it does.After 2hrs of assembling by myself I did a few pull ups, I heard metal creaking noises but I imagine that’ll stop (hopefully), the multiple grips is very handy for neutral, chin, and pull ups. Great for leg raises for abs and the push up handles are a great width so it doesn’t over extend my shoulders. 4.5/5 stars. Time will tell how this will hold up. I’m 150lbs and there’s a slight temporary bend when using it but then returns to its normal state when not hanging from it. I guess $199 is a decent price for this but I’d recommended waiting for a sale.

Received on time.Took 1 hr to put together. Instructions were understandable. All parts available with a wrench and l-wrench.Just used. Very sturdy.

Our family likes this unit. It's a decent price and is easy to assemble.It's a little light though. Some people will want to go with a more costly unit if you want something heavy and solid.That being said for the cost it gets the job done.
