I ordered this dip stand to add some variety to my workouts and expand the options in my home gym.It arrived well packaged. Assembly is pretty straightforward- there’s only eight nut/bolts to put it together, with some washers. The directions are really just an exploded diagram of the thing assembled so don’t expect step-by-step but it’s easy enough to figure out and took me about 10 minutes to put together by myself after opening the box.Construction is pretty good. As you can see in some photos the welds aren’t the prettiest but seem to at least be a good bead down the length of it. The sticker advertised a max weight of 300lbs. The foam handles on the hand grips came pre-installed, and really it’s just five major pieces plus the blue triangular stabilizing pieces.Once assembled it looks good and sits flat on the ground. There are rubber feet on the bottom to prevent damage to your floor. They even include a poster with different exercises you can do with the dip stand- a lot more than just standard dips.I gave it a few sets of test dips and it felt sturdy and didn’t wobble during them. One thing I noticed is when I was first putting my weight on I felt the tiniest shift in the two bars where the hand grips are. I rechecked and all of my nuts were tight. I think there’s just a little amount of give- probably the through holes are slightly bigger allowing a tiny amount of play. I didn’t notice it after beginning my set (didn’t shift back and forth, just a tiny movement down when I first put weight on it so it probably settled into that position). I’ll keep an eye on it but honestly doesn’t have me very worried- it seems quite sturdy.Overall it’s a good buy for the price and provides good options to expand your workouts!

I like everything about it. It is sturdy, easy to assemble. I read a lot of negative comments and they must have improved as I have no negative comments on this. One comment mentioned the holes in the braces did not line up thus the person could not assemble it. Hint, drill and drill bit.Buy it, worth every cent.

When you can't get to your local gym, I take this station will do, but in reality its not worth the cost and has a few annoying issues.First, the assembly is fairly simple and I am not sure why people had issues with it.What irks me is the height, if you are anywhere near 6 feet or taller, this station will be to low, still usable , but not very comfortable. Also as others have mentioned the grips are awful and I am looking to use a tape of some kind to make them easier on my hands.

In looking over the earlier reviews, it seems this company straightened out their quality control. I had absolutely no issues with the packaging; all the required nuts and bolts were there, as well as foam padding and other necessary parts. Assembly was also very simple and took about ten minutes. I agree with an earlier review in that a ratchet set should be used. Assembly with the Allen key included in the package and a regular wrench would take forever. The assembled product is very sturdy and stable and a pleasure to use. The angle/orientation of the bars also allows the user to do both chest focused and triceps focused dips; along with a host of other exercises using the included rings. I am completely satisfied.
