AMAZING! Works on my Persian (long hair), Tabby(short hair) and Abyssinian(super short hair) I have never had a brush get the undercoat out as well as this brush. Excellent quality and good weight.

I didn't know my cat had all of this tucked away. I would use a brush to comb her, but felt something was off considering she sheds a lot. So I decided to buy and try this kit and stucked gold. With 1 stroke, I got more hair then any brush I have used. If your using a brush also, I would throw it away cause this kit is all you need.

After reading the reviews, even considering the negative ones, I decided to take a chance. This thing is the best tool, aside from clippers, for removing small to medium mats. If your animal is heavily matted to the skin, I doubt that it would work, but at that point they need a shave anyway. Even if the handle leaks, I would still give it 5 stars. As long as you take your time, there is VERY LITTLE discomfort for your pet. Considering the price, if the handle leaks and can't be repaired, I will buy another one.
