I know everybody says the metal pads grip better and perform better in wet conditions, but I just love how quiet and smooth these organic pads are riding on flow trails downhill. I'm not a super aggressive rider, so maybe that's why I don't miss the extra grip of the metal pads. These pads have plenty of stopping power for me - without the noise and over-bite of metal pads.

No complaints. Nice and sticky. Though I change them very frequently, often at 50%, so I maintain maximum braking performance for hill climbing and descent. Would be nice if they were a little less expensive given how often I change them.

La pastiglia in alluminio con resina organica si è rivelata deludente, in quanto le placchette in alluminio sottoposte a stress si devono essere surriscaldate e si sono piegate in seguito alla pressione del doppio pistoncino, problema mai riscontrato con placchette in ferro.Quindi ai bordi la pastiglia si è assotigliata molto e al centro di meno.

much less expensive than LBS... even tho none stocked the Alu-backed pads to begin with AND charge the same price for the steel-backed units as I paid for these via Amazon. So I'd imagine my LBS would be 30% more than amazon on these... at very least. Excellent deal.
