The packaging is quite unique. The material is vacuum sealed and compressed so when you open it, it fluffs up a lot. I bought the smallest graded size, 1-3mm. Next time I would buy the larger size. It still works well with the soil, but larger size will provide more benefits imo.

Needed this to make my own seed starting mix and this really helps. Watch the dust, but once wet it is wonderful

ive purchased vermiculite several times from various sellers but this time i recieved something that took me by surprise. usually the verm comes in a loosely packed bag inside a box that was sometimes sealed & sometimes not. this package of vermiculite showed up vacuum sealed & it was maybe 1/2" thick i was impressed. they seem to care about the quality of their product. i recommend this seller.

Just what I or anyone would expect. Great product. It come as a compressed ‘board’. Not in a bag as the product listing on Amazon shows.
